Ingredients

  • 1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Milk or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup COFFEE-MATE® Marshmallow Hot Cocoa Flavor Liquid Coffee Creamer
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • Pinch salt
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Fresh berries (optional)

Directions

PLACE morsels in medium bowl; set a fine mesh sieve over bowl.

WHISK together whipping cream, Coffee-mate Marshmallow Hot Cocoa Flavor Liquid, egg yolks and salt in small, heavy-duty saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat, whisking frequently (constantly toward end), for 10 minutes or until mixture reaches 175° F on instant-read thermometer (do not let custard boil). The mixture should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

POUR custard into sieve over morsels; allow mixture to sit for a couple minutes before whisking until smooth. Divide mixture evenly among 9 dessert cups or glasses. Cool to room temperature; cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.

SERVE with dollop of whipped cream and fresh berries, if desired.
